Gitzen Girl: Blog Peep Questions: Goals

I have actually been waiting for you to feel better before ordering a canvas because I didn't want it to be one of those elusive "things I should do" and interfere with you getting better! I think there will always be a demand for them and even if your orders fall off, Hump Day Giveaways will always be fun and be entered! I haven't won one yet, but I am going to keep trying! :)

We move forward through our lives and having benchmarks or goals definitely helps us to not feel stuck regardless of the circumstances. But I think when illness and disease strike we sometimes just feel like "theres no way I can now." I think it shows great fortitude on your part not to succomb to that kind of thinking!

I have no doubt canvas business will resume once you are up to creating them once again!

I love that you are at least feeling better enough to post on a more regular basis!! It is always such a fun surprise when I see that there is something new from you. You would be very proud of Ian and Emma, they both painted canvases as thank you gifts for their teachers and we found cool sayings for each of them. See how inspirational you are in so many ways!!!!

Halloween hugs to you this weekend!

Setting goals is important. It can help motivate us to push our selves. We if achieve all our goals then we are not setting them high enough.

You post points out the key question, which is what you do when you don't meet a goal. Not meeting a goal simply means you have learned more about you own capabilities, which will change over time.

I don't know anyone who has had to deal with more changes in their life than you have. The fact that you are continuing to set goals tells me how much faith you have. Its faith that keeps us moving forward over every obstacle life puts in our way.

Thank you for teaching me more about the importants of faith.

    Hey girlfriend,

Glad to see you back up and around and writing and sounding perkier! :) Haven't visited much lately as we are getting close to baby time, but wanted you to know I look at my canvas often and remember in the midst of our trial, God has the answer. You are also on my prayer list daily.

Still haven't figured out how to sign into your comments. Ugh! Have a fantastic day!

    Love, Debra

Big things are made up of lots of little small things :) You are doing bigger things than you realise.
Having faith and just trusting that everything will work out the way it is supposed to is one of the hardest things I have ever done. It does give me a lot of peace though.
    Love hearing from you :)
