Oh sweet girl!! I so wish there was something more that could keep you occupied!! However, I'm glad that Alias has helped. :) What a neat story.

I have to say, that if there is ANYONE I know who could get through what you are having to go through...YOU, my friend, are the one I know who could do it and IS doing it!!!!!! In fact, you can do anything. You inspire me to be such a better person. Your strength, determination, positive attitude, gracious spirit, etc. (I could seriously go on and on) just amaze me each and every day. :) I'm just so blessed by you.

It was great to hear from you the other day. Yes, apparently...the "hall festivities and refreshments" trumped you and Riley! However...I think she also knows how difficult it is for you to have company, as well. However, we never really got into the specifics! :)

Anyway, thank you for posting tonight! I've been missing you and praying for you as always!

    Love and Hugs

Once again in awe of your attitude.

Before your hut goes in flames, run fast with your computer, b/c when you're rescued from the island, I'm buying your book.

    Praying as always.

I really enjoyed the castaway story. When I read the part about in flames I figured out the ending but it was perfect knowing how God gives us exactly what we need even if it isn't what we think is best or what we want. Please hang in there! Know that God knows what is going on and everything is working for Him :)

Thank you for that reminder. Sara you are AMAZING. I wish I lived near you just so I can bring you good food and a hug. I will keep up with my prayers for you my dear. You have the strength to get through this even though it doesn't feel like it. God wouldn't have chose you if you didn't. Hugs my blogger friend.

    Sara,
Thinking of you and praying. You have such spirit! You're encouraging to us all. I wish I could find a way to encourage you. Is there anything you need or would like that we could all send? We are willing to help just give us a post office box and you'll have whatever might get you through this hard time.

I've always loved this story. I've never seen Alias, but it sounds like you have a plan! Praying you'll be coming back to some sense of 'normal' soon. Give Riley a hug from me.

I had a strong vibe about you last night so I had to come and check on you, and I clicked over and here you were. If ever there were a Sydney Bristow rear-end kicker rival, it would be you.

Love seeing a new piece of design work from you and another great quote. And that story? So fitting. Really great to hear a spark of encouragement in your voice.

You are never far from my thoughts! Sending you love and prayers and good vibes for more of that rear-kicking spirit. Blessings sweet girl.

I imagine you look pretty cool in that bright red wig, kicking terrorist tushies wherever you go! Hey, you survived dental work performed by a mad Korean orthodontist without any anesthetic! This is a piece of cake for you, my strong and courageous friend! 8-)

That so reminded me of a sermon several weeks ago at church. It was SO good! He talked about the story of the storm where Jesus was asleep and the apostles were freaking out. What the preacher emphasized was the Word Jesus gave them before they left. He said, "Let us go to the other side." Not, let us drown in the middle, but that they were all going to get there.

I am proud of you! I know things are stinky now, but they are going to be much better on the other side (meaning in several weeks after you are off these steroids). Praying for relief and comfort and for you to tangibly feel God's arms around you.

    Love you!

Oh, and p.s. if you want to hear the sermon it is online at www.gatewaypeople.com. It was Roosevelt Hunter on July 4th weekend, I believe. Titled "Let Us Go to the Other Side." Great sermon on faith!

I love your quote! It is just perfect. I am going to put it up above my pc to be reminded every day.
You really are sounding better each time you post. I know you are going to win another battle today and tomorrow and the day after...

PS I think Sydney is SO cool! I would love to be able to kick butt like that too :D

Thanks so much for posting! I've been aching to know how things are going for you, so it comes as a relief to 'hear'from you!! I, too, want you to know that you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers daily. Keep kickin' butt, Sara! Dave and I love you so! <3

I think that's a great way to pass this time - Alias is such a fun show, and if you need inspiration to be a booty-kicking lady, Sydney is the one to do it!

Although...friend...I have to tell you (again) that you are an inspiration to me. Maybe even more than our Alias hero. :)

Still praying for you!! AND loving that new quote!!

I'm a bit behind the times so I never watched Alias when it was on TV. I recently started borrowing the dvd's from the library and LOVE this show. (I keep checking the library website to see if Season 2 came in yet!) I can just see you as Sydney - tough and persistent with a great sense of humor. Now every time I put the dvd in, I'll pray for you. :)

    Hi Sara,
Just trying to see if my computer likes your commenting system today! It took a loooooong time to load, but it seems like it's letting me comment ... let's see ...

    Hi Sara,
Well, I was able to get the comments page to load for me today, but it's still not letting me sign in using Google for some reason. Hmmm. Let's see if it will at least allow me to post as a "guest" today ...

My heart is with you, spy girl. Thinking of you every day. I am glad you have Alias to distract you and give you an alter ego. If you get bored with Alias, maybe we can hunt down some old Wonder Woman episodes and a gold rope. ;) I'm praying for you, Sara.

Sydney Bristow totally kicks-butt! My hubby had all the seasons on DVD but I'd never seen them, so that's been our summer-indulgence -- watching the entire collection of ALIAS episodes. We're on season 4 right now. :)
It's easy for me to look at her and wish I was thinner, prettier, more hip or stylish, but then I just have to remember that its only Hollywood and she looks just as bad as I do without makeup on and a million hair products!

Hang in there girl, day by day, and find your moment-by-moment strength in our Lord and Savior! "Be strong and courageous..."

Gitz: I am sooooo sorry that you are in so much pain. And here I sit and complain when I have a canker sore! How selfish is that? Your recent quote is AWESOME. Some day when you are feeling up to it, I am going to order one or maybe two of those. One for my house, and I also want one for my classroom. You are an inspiration to us all...Bonnie O:-)
